So why come here rather than another summer riding your local trails or maybe doing France again. Simple, life's too short, & you work too hard enough not to deserve this. It really is a cool place to live and ride. That said, there should be an obligatory warning to any holiday maker here, watch out as you wouldn’t be the first to come here for 2 weeks & end up here well over a decade later (a la me & many of my friends). As Warren Miller has been saying for years “why would you ever live in the city & work in an office, when you could live out the dream in a ski town” That’s the whole of BC (including Vancouver) and the result is a place that is full of outdoor enthusiasts.
That makes selecting our Epic Ride Team so hard. Our criteria for our Bike Pro's is not only riding ability, but more importantly, coaching knowledge and experience and going the extra mile for our guests - we simply have no time for the bro’ ego type. We see no point in employing someone who can neither impart their skill on a bike to you as they have never been trained to do so, or provide a safe, fun and empathetic learning experience.
One of the great things about BC is how friendly & laid back everyone is. Everyone always comments on the extremely high levels of customer service. It’s based on a very basic but often forgotten fundamental: treat others how you would expect to be treated yourself (a core customer service philosophy at the very heart of every one of our great Epic Ride Team). The other great thing is how safe the place is, with kids roaming freely because everyone is too beat from playing hard to be distracted by all that other stuff.
At Epic Ride we always walk the talk & under-promise & over-delivery, you have my word on it..
